I enjoy visiting the
Scrap Exchange on Foster Street in Durham's
Central Park area. Various businesses donate materials they don't need, creating a nice repository of items for crafty "creative reuse". I like to visit them for ideas and materials when I make modern
rose arrangements. I took these pictures on August 9, 2006 when I brought my students from a course in Digital Photography for Teens and had them shoot, particularly looking at still lifes and form.
