A little over a week after his wife's visit, on April 17, 2008, Senator Barack Obama visited Raleigh. The NC State Fairground's Governor Kerr Scott Building had a capacity crowd of enthusiastic supporters for the Presidential ambitions of the Senator, leading up to the state's May 6th primary.
