Franklin Park Conservatory, Columbus, OH
I visited the Franklin Park Conservatory two miles from downtown Columbus, Ohio on a chilly day in late March 2008 to scout an engagement photography session. Established in 1895 in a ninety acre park, it is said to feature 400 plant species and be the garden owning the largest permanent Chihuly collection. Here are a few pictures that I took; I hope to come back to enjoy this beautiful conservatory more leisurely sometime.
Note: the pictures are not sorted by date, but by area within the conservatory: Front and outdoors, Pacific Island Water Garden, Himalayan Mountains, Tropical Rain Forest, Desert, Palm House, and Grand Atrium (including special exhibitions there).
