20060924 Carrboro Music Festival

I attended the ninth annual Carrboro Music Festival on Sunday, September 24, 2006. Twenty-one sites, both indoor and outdoor, hosted one hundred fifty (!) performing ensembles. The whole event, sponsored by the Town of Carrboro, NC and others, is free and it seems that music is playing everywhere in the downtown area during the festival! I attended this last year as well. Though the event lasted from 1p-midnight, I only was there from about 5:30-10:30p. For the few bands that I was fortunate enough to see, I captured a few images and low-resolution video that I'm happy to share here.
