2012-1112 (6-week Carrboro ArtsCenter) Assignment "3 1/2" - Informal "Something Important about Carrboro or Chapel Hill" Competition (due Nov. 29)

We had a week off in this six-week class the weekend before Thanksgiving, so had an informal contest to have students continue practicing their photography. "Apply what we've learned so far about photography to submit ... up to six images, taken between now [April 1] and then [April 13] that you think reflect the theme about spring in our area. The interpretation is up to you - street scenes with hints of the spring, a landscape with a local landmark, events, folks enjoying something about the towns, a local institution, .... Please don't do any photo editing other than cropping. Don't forget to include a title." Each of these pictures is by a student in my class; each student retains all rights.
