Unknown photographer(s) - Funny but Practical Japanese Inventions

I received these funny pictures in an email message on September 18, 2006. I don't know if it's just silliness or if these are real inventions. If anybody knows who created them, I will gladly give credit or remove them and/or point to where they can be found.
